The Giant Delivery basket is one of the most enduring and iconic products in Wald's catalog. Popular among messengers and paperboys (feel free to ask your father or grandfather about this noble profession), this basket is designed to carry large loads thanks to its stout legs, cargo bands, and heavy-duty handlebar clamps. - Made in U.S.A. These are simple polished stainless steel struts which can be used to mount many of our racks to your bike's brake bridge or fork crown. Available in Small and Large sizes. - Small is 8.5cm long from end to end - Useful for mounting our Constructeur Rear Rack to your brake bridge. - Useful for mounting our Constructeur Rear Rack to your brake bridge. Common on European utility bikes, a front wheel stabilizer makes loading front racks simpler. It is a spring connecting the fork to the down tube. It adds a subtle self centering action to the front wheel, making loading and unloading of a bike with a basket, or say, our Porteur Rack much easier. The spring also offers some resistance to steering, so it counteracts deflections from hitting potholes and road debris. - Mounts to the back of the fork crown via brake bolt or through bolt - Fork crown mount diameter is made to fit an M6 bolt - common on nutted calipers - Use Sheldon's Fender Nuts to work with recessed brake bolts - Rust resistant and includes all required brackets and hardware - Available for Small (31.8mm and smaller) and Large (38-62mm) sized downtubes

The VO Porteur Rack is a traditional-style rack as used on the famed Parisian newspaper delivery bikes. Those Parisian delivery bikes were reputed to carry as much as 110lbs. of newspapers on similar racks (of course, the bikes had strengthened frames and forks, not just racks). Our Porteur Rack is made from strong stainless steel tubing and polished to a lovely shine. It won't rust like painted steel racks or fatigue and crack like aluminum racks. The quality is actually superior to that of many custom racks. In short, this is a real load-carrying rack, not an aluminum "style-rack". Yet total weight with rail, nuts, bolts, etc. is only 1.079kg. The platform is about 36cm x 29cm. A removable rail attachment is included and very handy for smaller packages. The tangs are pre-drilled to fit 700c, 27", 26", and 650b bikes. There are four bosses for a light attachment. There is a boss for securing your fender to the rack -- no rattling! Please also note the elegant pannier/tie-down loops above the mounting tangs. Mounting hardware is included. The Porteur Rack mounts to the dropout eyelet and the brake bolt (or fork crown hole). Max weight with this configuration is 25 lbs.
