Weekly Ride Schedule

Looking for the opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the healthy benefits of bicycling. Join us for one of our group rides. We offer a choice of rides for road, recreation, and fitness. All rides are led by an experienced ride leader. There is no charge to participate. We maintain a "no drop" rule, but there may be times when there will be seperation and regrouping. If under 18, a parent or guardian must sign a release waiver and you must be accompanied by an adult biking partner on all rides. All riders must sign a ride waiver. Minnesota state law requires head and tail lights after dusk. Bring a cell phone for emergencies. Please ride responsibly. Rides do not occur on holidays or during inclement weather. Consider renting one of bicycles for your ride. We provide current model Trek bicycles to ensure your enjoyment and safety. For road rides consider the Domane carbon road bike. For mountain bike rides consider the Fuel EX 9 full suspension mountain bike. For winter adventure the Farley 7 fat tire bikes provide a memorable riding experience.   • Route: A social ride around area lakes and bike trails often riding to Elm Creek Park. 
  • Distance: 10-15 miles
  • Avg. Speed: 10-12 mph
  • Terrain: Flat, some hills
  • Est. Time: 1-1.5 hours
  • Ride Fee: $2.00  (TCBC-Twin City Bike Club Members-no fee)


  • Date: Week of April 16-September 14
  • Time: Monday, 5:30 p.m. 
  • Route: Varies each week, using south, west, and northern country roads. Fitness and road riders welcome.
  • Distance: 25-50 miles, depends on daylight.
  • Avg. Speed: " B " level, 17-18 mph average
  • Est. Time: 1.5 - 4 hours. Ride until sunset.
  • Ride Leader: Scot Bolland 


  • Date: Week of April 13-September 14
  • Time: Tuesday, 6 p.m.
  • Route: Fitness ride riding east and north of Maple Grove Cycling. Starting fitness and road riders will like this ride.
  • Distance: 20-30 miles
  • Avg. Speed: " C " level, 16 -17 mph average
  • Terrain: Flat, few hills
  • Est. Time: 1.5-2 hours
  • Ride Leader: Tod Eckberg


  • Date: Week of April 13 - September 14
  • TimeWednesday, 5:30 p.m
  • Route: Fast paced, longer distance ride through south, west, and northern routes.This ride will challenge the serious fitness orientated cyclist while developing speed, endurance, and strength. We will look to build a base early in the season, with ride speeds progressing throughout the season.
  • Distance: 35-65 miles, depends on day light.
  • Avg. Speed: " A" level, 20 + mph average
  • Terrain: Flat and hilly, strenuous
  • Est. Time: 2-4.5 hours. Ride until sunset.
  • Ride Leader: Scot Bolland


  • Date: Week of April 13 - September 14
  • Time: Thursday, 6:00 p.m
  • Route: Swift, fast paced ride taking more consistent routes.Fitness road riders welcome.
  • Distance: 25-40 miles, depends on day light.
  • Avg. Speed: "B" level, 17-18 mph average
  • Est. Time: 1.5-2.5 hours.
  • Ride Leaders: Laurie McElmeel, Nate Wentz


  • Date: Fall & Winter Season
  • Time: 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
  • Route: Rides will take place on local singletrack trails by MORC. Trail location and specific dates can be found here.
  • Distance: Rides will vary in terrain and can be from 10-15 miles. Beginners welcome and encouraged to join us.
  • Avg. Speed: 9-12MPH. Pace will be set by the last rider. *NO DROP RULE!
  • Est. Time: Approx 1.5-2 hours.
